Ten IDF Soldiers Die in Lebanon

(MENAFN) The Israeli military reported on Wednesday that ten soldiers have died and 309 others were injured since the conflict with Lebanon and Iran began, according to reports.

Army data showed that all ten fatalities occurred in southern Lebanon since March 2. In the conflict with Iran, 309 soldiers have been wounded, including 23 seriously and 55 moderately, as stated by reports.

Since the Gaza war began in October 2023, a total of 935 Israeli soldiers have been killed and 6,424 injured, according to military figures.

Regional tensions escalated after a joint U.S.-Israel offensive on Iran on February 28, which has so far resulted in over 1,340 deaths, including the then-Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. Tehran has responded with drone and missile strikes targeting Israel as well as neighboring countries hosting U.S. military assets, including Jordan, Iraq, and Gulf states, according to reports.

Israel’s Health Ministry reported at least 6,286 people injured since the start of the war with Iran. While official death tolls have not been released, estimates from Israel’s Institute for National Security Studies place the number of fatalities at 29, as stated by reports.
